Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Volare GmbH ("Volare", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you contact us about private jet charter services or use this website. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
1. Controller
The controller responsible for the processing of your personal data is Volare GmbH, Friedrichstraße 100, 10117 Berlin, Deutschland. For any privacy matter you can reach us at thomas@volare.help.
2. What data we collect
- Enquiry data you provide when requesting a charter: name, email address, requested route, dates, passenger count and any preferences you share.
- Communication data contained in messages you send us by email.
- Technical data automatically generated when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed.
3. Why we use it and legal basis
- To prepare and respond to your charter enquiry and provide quotes — necessary for taking steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To operate and secure the website — based on our legitimate interest in a functioning, safe service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To comply with commercial and tax record-keeping duties — to meet our legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4. Sharing your data
To arrange a flight we may pass relevant details (such as passenger names and itinerary) to the aircraft operator and the airports or FBOs involved. We share data only to the extent needed to fulfil your request and require recipients to protect it. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention
We keep enquiry and contract data for as long as needed to provide our services and to satisfy statutory retention periods (generally up to ten years for commercial records under German law). Technical log data is kept for a short period and then deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection regarding your personal data, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact thomas@volare.help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
7. Cookies
Information about the cookies and similar technologies used on this site is set out in our Cookie Policy.
8. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page.
